Greet magazines still introduce residents through sharing stories and photos in exclusive high-quality issues each month, but they have the distinction of being mailed to a different audience – a larger-scale community or a whole town.
Riding the tails of a major rebrand from N2 Publishing to Stroll neighborhood magazines in July 2022, there were still a handful of larger community publications that stood out as unique from their Stroll counterparts. These 30-some publications could have been part of the Stroll brand family, but they had a separate feel and reach – and N2 already had big plans for future launches of the same caliber.
These magazines still introduce residents through sharing stories and photos in exclusive high-quality issues each month, but they have the distinction of being mailed to a different audience – a larger-scale community or a whole town. The N2 Company set out to create an entirely new brand to fit the wider audience Greet reaches– building connections through its community members and business owners down the street.
Greet: to address with expression of kind wishes upon meeting or arrival. When you greet someone, you aren’t simply meeting them. It’s an intrinsically positive meeting – a warm hello or welcome. Greet is what you do for community members down the street or visiting at your door. In a way, our magazines greet homeowners upon their arrival every month.
Meaning aside, Greet was also chosen for the name because it is a single syllable with a good “mouthfeel” when you say it out loud.
Visually, this name lends itself to images of the social aspect of being part of a desirable community: smiling, friendly residents gathered in each other’s lush backyards or swinging by the neighbor’s house to greet them with a nice bottle of wine.
Greet provides the introductions you want – a warm “hello” waiting in your mailbox every month.
