Service Member FAQs

We are proud to have been named a Top Franchise for Veterans by the third-party franchise research firm Franchise Business Review. We’ve earned this special recognition not once but three times. Below are questions Franchise Business Review asks us as part of their Top Franchises for Veterans awards program.

How do you support veteran franchisees?

Every N2 franchisee benefits from our extensive training as well as our proven “playbook” for success, but these assets are particularly appreciated by veterans who so often come to us with an ingrained desire for structure, schedules, and clear objectives. In addition to this, we provide one-on-one mentorship and coaching throughout a franchisee’s N2 experience, and our franchisees with military experience say this structure fills their need for the sense of camaraderie and support they enjoyed during their service.

Why do you think veterans make great business owners?

Two words: calculated risks. It’s vital in business ownership to take calculated risks that can propel you further, but it’s an especially useful skill set for our franchisees because the role is so heavily focused on sales. Veterans, in particular, have what it takes. After all, they aren’t new to taking charge and being held accountable for their decisions. Veterans are also more than equipped to run a business successfully without any direct supervision. These are all qualities we look for in our franchisees.

Why do you think franchising is such a great opportunity for veterans?

Many veterans have been separated from their families due to deployment, or have relocated from base to base multiple times. Owning a franchise in a specific area, however, offers stability for themselves and for their families – both physically through community-based work and financially through lucrative earning potential. Known for being driven, hard workers, vets excel when given the opportunity to see a direct correlation between effort exerted and income received, which franchising provides.
