Allison and Samuel Beatty are the proud owners of Sunshine Electric, a family-owned, veteran-owned electrical company founded in January 2025 with a clear mission: provide honest, ethical electrical services that always put the client first. Built on discipline, service, and craftsmanship, their company reflects the values they’ve lived both in uniform and in their community.
Allison served in the United States Marine Corps from 2000 to 2004 as an Administrative/Finance Clerk. After her military service, she continued building her expertise in financial operations and accountability, working as a Compliance Analyst with MassMutual before becoming a civilian employee at the United States Naval Academy, serving directly under the Commandant’s Budget Office. Her background in administration, finance, and military structure provides Sunshine Electric with strong operational leadership and integrity.
Samuel began his career in the electrical trade in 1996, developing a passion for skilled craftsmanship and problem-solving. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1997–1998 and again from 2000–2007 as an Artilleryman and Cannon Section Chief. During his service, he deployed in combat during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. After leaving active duty, Sam returned to the electrical trade, bringing with him leadership, discipline, and attention to detail. He also spent time teaching for the Department of Defense as a civilian contractor before fully dedicating himself to building Sunshine Electric.
A Marine Corps Love Story
Samuel and Allison met in Okinawa, Japan in 2001 while both serving in the Marines. What began as a shared commitment to service grew into a lifelong partnership built on faith, family, and dedication to others. Today, that same teamwork drives their business.
Allison and Sam are proud parents of two sons, Noah and Simon. Noah loves crafts, building treehouses, and playing soccer. Creative and entrepreneurial, he dreams of opening his own restaurant one day. Simon enjoys soccer, hands-on projects, and building with Legos. Inspired by his father, he already says he wants to become an electrician and carry on the family trade.
Family is at the heart of everything they do, and Sunshine Electric was built not only to serve the community—but to build a legacy for their boys.
